PROGRAMME DETAILS (3rd or 4th or 5th Dose)
Free Sinovac (CoronaVac) COVID-19 vaccination is now available in the University Health Service while stock lasts.
3rd Dose
Eligibility:
1. UHS eligible users aged 6 months or above
- Interval between 2nd and 3rd dose is at least 90 days
OR
2. UHS eligible users aged 6 months or above who are
*Immunocompromised individuals
- Interval between 2nd and 3rd dose is at least 28 days
(Persons who are under the age of 18 years are required to bring along both completed Consent Form 1 AND Consent Form 2 signed by their parents/guardians for getting their vaccinations.)
(Persons who are aged 6 months to 17 years, an accompanying adult is required to be present physically at the venue on the day of vaccination.)
4th Dose
Eligibility:
1. UHS eligible users aged 50 years or above
- Interval between 3rd and 4th dose is at least 90 days
OR
2. UHS eligible users aged 18-49 years who are at #higher risk of COVID-19 exposure or with ^personal needs
- Interval between 3rd and 4th dose is at least 180 days
OR
3. UHS eligible users aged 18-49 years who are
*Immunocompromised individuals
- Interval between 3rd and 4th dose is at least 90 days
OR
4. UHS eligible users aged 6 months-17 years who are
*Immunocompromised individuals
- Interval between 3rd and 4th dose is at least 90 days

5th Dose
Eligibility:
1. UHS eligible users aged 18 years or above
- Interval between 4th and 5th dose is at least 180 days
OR
2. UHS eligible users aged 18 years or above who are
*Immunocompromised individuals
- Interval between 4th and 5th dose is at least 90 days
* Immunocompromised individuals include:
- Cancer or hematological malignancy on active immunosuppressive treatment now or in the past 12 months
- Recipients of solid organ transplant or stem cell transplant on immunosuppressive treatment
- Severe primary immunodeficiency or on chronic dialysis
- Advanced or untreated HIV disease
- On active immunosuppressive drugs, or immunosuppressive chemotherapy /radiotherapy in past 6 months
# Higher risk of COVID-19 exposure includes:
- Workers in healthcare settings, residential care homes for the elderly or residential care homes for persons with disabilities;
- Workers at increased risk for COVID-19 exposure and transmission because of occupational setting (personnel participating in anti-epidemic related work; personnel providing cross-boundary transportation or working at control points and ports)
^ Personal needs: e.g. to study abroad or to fulfil a requirement for overseas travel, etc.

- If you have recovered from COVID-19 infection, please read “Factsheet on COVID-19 Vaccination For Persons with Prior COVID-19 Infection” before making appointment. Please bring your relevant documentary proof of recovery/ hospital discharge, and follow the recommended interval as stated in the factsheet to receive vaccination after recovery for better vaccine effectiveness.

2. To reduce the risk of the spread of COVID-19, you are required to wear a surgical mask before entering the UHS premises. Before proceeding to COVID-19 vaccination, you are required to check your temperature and fill in the Health Questionnaire for COVID-19.
Please note that you are NOT allowed to join the COVID-19 vaccination if
- you have fever/respiratory symptoms
AND/OR
- you have positive COVID-19 test (PCR or Rapid Antigen Test) within at least 30 days, please refer to “Factsheet on COVID-19 Vaccination for Persons with Prior COVID-19 Infection”.
AND/OR
- you are required to undergo compulsory COVID-19 testing, under compulsory quarantine or medical surveillance
Please stay in resting area for 15 minutes after vaccination.
